Job Description:

Vail Valley Entertainment is looking for an Event Technician to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences at events across the Vail Valley. As an Event Technician, you’ll play a vital role in setting up and operating event equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and assisting guests throughout the event. If you’re outgoing, enjoy working with people, and have a knack for technology, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities: • Event Setup & Breakdown: Load, transport, set up, and break down event equipment, including lighting, Photo Booths, 360 Video Booths, and Silent Disco systems. • Equipment Handling: Prepare and organize inventory before and after events, ensuring all equipment is in working order. • Guest Interaction: Greet and assist guests throughout the event, helping them use equipment like photo booths and Silent Disco headphones. • Silent Disco Management: Distribute Silent Disco headphones, ensure proper functionality, collect them after the event, and clean them for future use. • Technical Support: Learn to operate simple technology and troubleshoot minor issues during events. • Maintain a Positive Atmosphere: Be friendly, helpful, and kind to guests to enhance their overall experience.

Qualifications: • Outgoing and charismatic personality with strong people skills. • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. • RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to and from event locations. • Comfortable interacting with guests and providing excellent customer service. • Willingness to learn and operate simple event technology. • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
